You can simply pick this weapon off a corpse near the Vanguard boss very early into your adventures, giving you an extremely powerful tool for dealing with the first few Demon’s Souls bosses. With the right Infusions, you can make the Kilij even stronger and take it far further into the later stages of the game than you may expect.
